“Thea is AMAZING!

I’ve worked with Thea for the past year and a half or so, on multiple occasions. I was changing jobs/climates and didn’t have an appropriate wardrobe. I also wanted to “up my style game” and expand my wardrobe. I hired Thea to help. She evaluated what pieces I had, what looked good on me, what I liked, what didn’t work or fit well anymore, and then found pieces that were my style to complete my wardrobe. Since then, we’ve worked together extensively, e.g., her advising me on what to wear for certain events, updating my wardrobe with the seasons and to reflect some fat loss/muscle gain, etc. I often get unsolicited compliments on the outfits she put together, when I’m out and about with friends or in town.

Thea is a visionary who can do new and creative things with the pieces that you already have, or help you find great new pieces at whatever price point. She listens to your preferences, tastes, likes and dislikes, and goals, and helps craft a wardrobe or the perfect outfit. She also teaches you about style points along the way, and explains why she recommends what she does. She knows great places to find affordable but high quality pieces. She is responsive, organized, cool, friendly, and a joy to work with.

By the way, I understand that Thea not only handles personal styling, but related stuff too, e.g., styling/photo shoots and advising on dating app profiles, etc.

Thea is the best, she is honest, kind, brilliant and knowledgeable, and inspires instant confidence. Thea owns and operates her business, and she devotes a lot of time and energy to her clients. “At the end of the day, I get constant compliments on my clothing chosen by Thea, still over a year after being styled by her. Really, it’s just constant compliments. People treat you nicer and dating gets much easier. Looks are super important.

Thea can work via webcam and isnt officially tied to any store, which already puts her above 99.9% of the stylists out there. Her style is based mostly off of G-Star, but uses other brands/stores.

A con would be that the price of her consultations are high for the work involved, perhaps due to lack of competition. However, this remains true of most stylists so its not really any surprise.

I will recommend Thea to anyone looking for a makeover.”

“Thea hasn’t done any personal styling for myself (honestly, I don’t think I’M cool enough for her to style... haha!), but she currently handles the visual merchandising of the optical boutique shop where I work.

Thea swings by once a month and is always excited and eager to create a new look for our office. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen people stop in their tracks and just gawk at the amazing things she’s able to create for our window display. What I love about Thea’s work ethic is that she is all about her client and making them happy- she wants you to love the final product. She works with great attention to detail, and you can tell, she just really enjoys what she does.

Besides her amazing work, Thea is just a genuinely great human being. It’s always a joy having her come by, and I’m bummed when she happens to come on my day off. She’s so fun to have around, and always extremely kind to myself and the staff.

“I’m a busy professional, play it safe with conservative clothing, and have never had an “eye for fashion.” When I realized that my closet was almost entirely filled with dull colors and boring pieces, I reached out to Thea for help. In a single evening, Thea made me feel like a rock star. She arrived at the mall an hour before I did, and by the time I had arrived, she had already selected a variety of casual and professional pieces that she recommended for my body type and lifestyle based on the questionnaire that she had me fill out. I would have never selected some of the pieces that she picked for me, but once I tried them on, they looked terrific and fit beautifully. I realized that I had been wearing the wrong sizes and often the wrong cuts for by body shape, which only made me look frumpy and larger than I am.

“I just had a chance to participate in a photo shoot that really benefitted me and I know that if this opportunity had come around before I worked with Thea, I would have run the other way.
However, this is such a good success story of why I needed to work with a stylist. I was able to easily grab several curated outfits that Thea and I had made. One darker, one lighter, one more formal, one less. I was able to be confident about how WHAT I WEAR EXPRESSES WHO I AM. That’s what I needed and wanted.

So—-Hiring a stylist is not just for celebrities but that was the association I had with it. I couldn’t believe I was considering it, and so I read the Yelp reviews, like, who are these people who go on Yelp and “admit” that they hired a stylist? What a paradox for Thea and her business if even HAPPY customers are shy about hiring her, as in, “if my roommate asks, just say you’re my friend.” Meanwhile, who has friends who will go waist deep in the closet of clothes you don’t wear? I tried asking 2 very stylish friends who love shopping to help me, over the years of not liking my style and not feeling confident about what to wear, but you can’t fix what I’ve got with one, two or three shopping trips.

Here’s where hating shopping and not dealing with it had gotten me: Not feeling like myself, not liking what I saw in the mirror, not liking any of my clothes, needing change, finding that a major haircut didn’t solve all of that. Just yearning to feel better about who I am presenting to the world and knowing that I would likely waste a lot of money trying to buy clothes without a roadmap. Stitch Fix didn’t fix it, an Eileen Fisher “capsule wardrobe” didnt look like me. I needed to outsource and get another brain involved—someone whose job it would be to help me get my confidence.

Working with Thea is a process, not an instant fix. There’s a lot of teaching coming from her. How to arrange your closet, how to even think about your clothes. It was kind of funny— what I called running errands, out and about clothes she said were around the house clothes. What I called around the house clothes, she was like, you can clean the garage in those.

Thea is very transparent about how she works and how exactly she charges for the work. She brings serious skill and expertise to the job and I didn’t mind paying for that. In fact, I had to pay for it because I couldn’t get it any other way. It is a substantial investment to get a whole overhaul from her, but she believes in Karma and is not really able to be sneaky or rip you off. I found her very worth the money. She was really overhauling my whole look, my method of handling clothes (closet, how to do laundry, more) and being a personal shopper bringing like a department store of clothes to me.”

“Thea is absolutely incredible. I have used her for both styling and home organizing.

For styling: she helped me find flexible business clothes that were flattering, elegant, and unique. She worked with my tastes and I wear these looks often. She understood my needs, personality, and personal style. I will definitely use her again in the future!

For my home: she helped me organize, declutter, she even took all the measurements to build me out a new closet, helped me order things, and put it together. She came prepared with a drill and other tools. Now my closet and home is far more functional. I love how she was very open to my needs and if her suggestion wasn’t what I wanted, she immodestly came up with a different solution. I plan to hire her again when I move.

Thea has an amazing personality and is so easy to work with. I cannot recommend her highly enough!”

“So I am a very busy (work and social) person. As she said “you do have a good eye, you just don’t know how to put the items together AND you are getting the wrong sizes for you”.

I hired Thea because I was tired of feeling like I had nothing to wear and coming from nyc needed my style to be a bit more fun.

She came in and looked at my clothing than said we need to organize your closet. That’s the most important step. At first I thought Thea was trying to make more money. I didn’t get how that had anything to do with my clothes. So I said no it’s okay I will just do it my self ( I wanted to save money) and she gave me some tips to do it.

Than we went shopping, she brought clothes to my house, she made me a bunch of outfits, took photos of it and said “Call me if you start to feel like you don’t have anything to wear or feel like you are wearing the same things.”

Than a month later I had to call. I hated that she was right. And yes she did explain it to me but as we all know we always thing people are always trying to scam us. As she totally called it, I would want to put on an outfit that she made me and took a photo of and of course I couldn’t find the items and eventually I realized I wasn’t even using the photos.

I thought I organized the closet but I guess I don’t really know or have the experience like she does. Because as soon as she did I haven’t had any problems since.

And now just like she said I get ready so much faster in the morning and can always find my items. And definitely feel like I have saved so much money on my outfits with her rather than going shopping and getting new stuff. It’s crazy how she can take couple of items and make so many different outfits with them.

Now Thea helps me pack, shop, and make more outfits once I am tired of the old ones.”

Hired Thea to go shopping with me and go through existing pieces in my closet. After a quick evaluation questionnaire/consultation —We went through the closet first, “Let’s see what we have to work with for and then see if we even need to go shopping.” We organized the closet and she made me feel like I had a brand new wardrobe, she set aside some great outfit options and then we shopped for essentials that would maximize my closet. Honest, sincere, clear vision, and such a sweetie. Amazing experience!!”

“Loved working with Thea. Originally I hired her to make me outfits. She is very efficient and honest. I didn’t have a big budget. “I was lucky to receive a gift certificate for 2.5 hours of consultation with Thea. It’s probably one of the best gifts I’ve received in my life. Thea is a professional and knows what she’s talking about! Her advice was well received and much appreciated. I needed help updating my wardrobe after weight-loss. My perception of what I thought would look appropriate on me was vastly different from what Thea recommended. I had nothing to lose and trusted her opinion. We did a 2.5 hour shopping trip and it was both educational and fun! She arrived promptly and also stayed with me a little over 2.5 hours which was much appreciated. In Los Angeles, there are so many “services” you can hire. I felt like a superstar thaving my own personal stylist for 2.5 hours! “There really aren’t enough amazing things I can say about Thea. First of all, i found her through a Google search, went to her website, loved it, and wrote her a message through her “contact” tab. She emailed me back within an hour. I can not praise timely responses high enough. We were off to a good start. We had a couple email back and forths, and then scheduled a phone consult for later that day. When we spoke, she had done quite a bit of homework, not only on me (my website, instagram, etc), but also with the field I’m in and the pictures I wanted to capture in my photo shoot. She was not only quite personable but understood exactly what i was going for and welcomed me to send her as many pictures as i wanted to share my inspiration. We then met once at her home studio where she had a room full of clothes she had selected for me to try. And although she told me that she typically goes shopping for her clients to find the items they needed, she was compassionate to my budget and we agreed we could find enough looks between the two of our closets. In addition, she also referred a hair and makeup artist that was not only in my budget, but very very good. In the week between meeting Thea and the shoot, she texted me “to do” lists, poses for me to practice, and then additional reminders the day before and day of the shoot. And not only did she style my wardrobe, but she brought several props to the shoot and had some amazing ideas for pictures, which the photographer loved. Honestly, if all that weren’t enough, the best part about her presence throughout this whole experience was that it seemed as though she was just as excited about the photo shoot as I was. Throughout the shoot, she was helpful to everyone from the photographer, the MUA, me, AND thoroughly enthusiastic about what was transpiring with the pictures. I really am so grateful to have found her.”

“Ok so I’m probably like the rest of you...busy, overworked and too drained to shop or look ‘current’; and after the internal battle of convincing myself that my clothes was ‘up to date’, I came to the conclusion that my closet did indeed need some corrective measures. I started to do some homework and came across a Thea’s Yelp profile and decided to contact her. She took over 20 minutes to discuss my needs and answered my questions. She was extremely courteous, professional, and not to mention honest! I had her come over my house to review my closet and as a direct result we decluttered and organized the necessities. (We got rid of a lot that have been passed on to friends and family). In doing this Thea was able to educate me and help me understand what is best for my body and clothing needs ie work/play. We met a second time where we spent several hours shopping. I have to say this women is on point! She’s fast, efficient and knows exactly what to look for. I’m not your traditional tall and skinny girl. I’m a petite women with curves which can be a tremendous challenge to shop for. Thea was able to make the impossible....possible!

“When I was first styled by Thea I was under the impression that I was a good dresser simply because I shopped at Barneys Coop and Bloomingdales, boy was I wrong. Thea changed my life by giving me the tools to dress for my body. Wide pants on a short (even though in my head I’m super tall) person like myself only made me look shorter which lead people to think I was younger than I seemed. As a doctor I wanted to have the impression of authority especially with my older patients. Often times they’d ask how old I was and so I needed to look like a person they should listen to and trust.
