WHY ME

I HAVE AN ART MAJOR

I developed an adept knowledge of designs, and colors, and an understanding of bodies, shapes, & spaces. I learned to think of people as works of art & their bodies as visual forms. Thus, I treat everything I design in similar ways.

I HAVE AN ART HISTORY MINOR

Art history taught me how to deconstruct genres, designs, forms & styles into conveyed feelings. Basically, I gained a talent for translating feelings into visuals. Which has helped me be able to provide all of my services.

MY FATHER

My father instructed me to think of objects as they are, rather than for what the objects represent. This exposed me to thinking creatively about the objects themselves. Which later influenced my ability to solve problems efficiently.

I have 17 + YEARS in countless boutiques with varying target clientele & styles

From my varied experiences in countless boutiques, I have developed a unique ability to style any age, body type & taste. I learned about the specific clientele, & specific body types; divergent styles, & professional organization. Artistically, I understood form, & from dressing, I learned style was another form of communication.

When I wasn’t dressing people, I was organizing the stock rooms. There was a point when I came back from having a week off & the stock room had stayed in order -- very unusual. I realized my organizational & workflow design worked even in my absence.

I am COMMITTED TO MAXIMIZING PRODUCTIVITY AND MINIMIZING WASTE.

AND A BIT MORE…ABOUT ME

I was born in Tbilisi, the Republic of Georgia & moved to Princeton, NJ at the age of 10. I entered college with the intention of becoming a therapist. However, my development as an artist led me in another direction. Since 2006 I dressed clients in NYC but it wasn't until receiving my BA in Art & Art History from Mount Holyoke College, that I realized the ability to impact the lives of others by combining my artistic eye with fashion. The experience in NYC taught me that fashion has the power to change an individual’s perception of self. Since moving to LA, I have expanded my services. Some call me a “ liFeStylist” & I don’t hate it.

THE POWER OF IMAGE

MY PHILOSOPHY

THE POWER OF IMAGE

I believe our wardrobe is a nonverbal communicator. Clothes affect the way we are seen, but most importantly they imply & reflect how WE see ourselves. Confidence, well-being & happiness can be attained by understanding the power of one's image. Just like the interior decor defines the space, how we dress defines our image & by default, us. What you wear can affect your image. Your image can affect your life, in a negative or in a positive way. Use the power of clothing to take the negative & turn it into a positive. Take control of what you're saying.
